I have a depth of experience in arts and education, as a writer, festivals director and project manager of English and literature-based digital initiatives. My applied skills have included being a content writer, designer, producer and strategic consultant in public service roles and with a range of non-government organisations. My experience in communications includes marketing and social media expertise (including collaborative tools).
My skills encompass learning design and digital architecture, project and event management, as well as extensive knowledge of the education (VET and Schools) and arts industries. I am well-versed in related culture, workflows, methodologies, and digital services and resources, including software and systems.
My works as a professional editor and a literary writer includes publication of literary texts, fiction, essays, memoir and poetry in Australian journals and anthologies. Additionally, I have experience teaching creative nonfiction at university level (UTS).
I hold a BA in Communications, majoring in Writing and Textual Studies (UTS), and an MA by-thesis research degree in Writing (UTS). I have also this year completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at TAFE NSW, as an additional qualification to be able to teach writing and editing in nationally recognised training qualifications. I am also a registered Wikipedia editor.
